On August 16th, MCC19 Group signed a contract with Thailand Changrongjia Co., Ltd. for the Thailand Changrongjia Pulp Mill Project in Chengdu. MCC Group Deputy General Manager Xu Xiangchun attended and addressed the signing ceremony while MCC19 Party Committee Secretary & Chairman Tian Ye and Thailand Changrongjia Co., Ltd. Chairman Zheng Qincan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective parties.
The signing ceremony was attended by Thailand Changrongjia Co., Ltd. Deputy General Manager Na Ji, MCC19 General Manager Ou Chenghua, MCC Overseas Project Management Department Minister Wang Yitang, Business Manager Chen Chong and others.
On the 15th, the participants carried out an in-depth exchange of opinions on the Thailand Changrongjia Pulp Mill Project and watched MCC19’s video. Both sides then conducted detailed negotiations on the terms. Xu Xiangchun briefly introduced the business conditions and recent overseas marketing projects of MCC Group and said that the Group has abundant experience in overseas project construction, is fully prepared for the construction of the Thailand Changrongjia Pulp Mill Project and hopes to engage in deep cooperation with Thailand Changrongjia Co., Ltd. so as to actively boost the smooth implementation of the project.
Located in Lopburi, Thailand, the Thailand Changrongjia Pulp Mill Project is about 160 km from Bangkok. It is planned to be constructed in two phases of which Phase I concerns an unbleached pulp mill with an annual output of 200,000 tons while Phase II involves completion of the pulp mill with a total annual output of 420,000 tons of bleached pulp. Second-hand equipment from Finland will be mainly adopted and has already been delivered to the site.
