CFMCC Commences New Project in Pakistan

A grand commencement ceremony was convened for the Phase 7 Project contracted by China First Metallurgical Construction Corporation (CFMCC) in Pakistan on March 8, 2010. The officials and distinguished guests present at the event included: Ijaz Ahmad Bakshi, Commander Lahore Corps, Lieutenant General & Chairman of DHA (Defence Housing Authority); the Chief Executive and the Chief Engineer of DHA; and friends from all walks of life in Pakistan. Vice General Manager Liu Shiyin and Director-General Liu Santao for Project Management of CFMCC also took part in this event.
The Chief Engineer of DHA gave a brief introduction to Commander Ijaz on the implementation progress of Bidding Section I, II and III under the project. The Commander placed a high premium on the execution progress and quality of the works, and gave full recognition to the perfect performance of CFMCC’s Project Division.
Vice General Manager Liu Shiyin of CFMCC held a free talk with the officials of various level of Pakistan. He assured that, CFMCC would field well-experienced management and construction team for implementation in line with the employer’s requirements. He also promised that CFMCC would spare no efforts in completing the project with the best quality, fast speed and perfect service.
The new Bidding Section of the project covers a total area of 2.36 square kilometers, under which the infrastructure works included road, sewage and rain water facilities, water supply network, water tower and electrical engineering.
