Guo Wenqing Meets with Shenzhen Officials

President Guo Wenqing of MCC Group met with Zhang Bei, Party Secretary & Director-General of Qianhai Management Bureau of Shenzhen City in Shenzhen on August 31, 2014. In a cordial and friendly atmosphere, both parties conducted in-depth discussion and entered into agreement on ways for promoting the current project execution and expanding the cooperative fields in the future.
Guo Wenqing extended gratitude to Zhang Bei for his hospitality, as well as to Qianhai Management Bureau for the essential support offered to the development of MCC in the local region. President Guo made a briefing on the history and the development situation of MCC Group. According to Guo, MCC Group has established itself into the worldwide largest contractor for metallurgical engineering and the service provider for upgrading and transformation of metallurgical engineering technologies. In addition, MCC Group is one of 16 central enterprises engaged in real estate development, which are approved by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council. Real estate development and infrastructure construction have developed into one of the core businesses of MCC Group. As a matter of fact, urban complex, high-rise building, large-sized stadium and large-span steel structure have turned out to be the professional strength of MCC Group. The Group has completed quite a few projects in overseas regions and accumulated rich experiences. Qianhai is deemed to be the experimental field for the reform and opening-up policies of China, a special zone for economic growth, a bridgehead for cooperation between Guangdong & Hong Kong and Shenzhen & Macao, a financial and commercial hub of the Maritime Silk Road. There is a saying that on a white paper, the most charming picture could be drawn. Therefore MCC Group could utilize its advantages and make a remarkable achievement.
Guo stated that, since the discussion held by both parties last time, the mutual cooperation witnessed a fast progressing. Up to now, Qianhai MCC (Shenzhen) International Trade Co., Ltd. has been established, and quite a few infrastructure and “dream works” have been started. As for the current works under construction, MCC Group will field the most excellent project managers on site, build up the best team, promote the project implementation on a quality and timely basis, and endeavor to establish this works into a sample project and thus establish the MCC Brand with high reputation. Zhang expected MCC Group to have more opportunities to participate in the development of housing construction, road/bridge and municipal infrastructure works, and make contribution to the growth of Qianhai.
Zhang Bei gave a detailed introduction to the available preferential policies for cross-border settlement, financial innovation and insurance, as well as the opportunities in these fields. Zhang promised to offer firm support for the development of MCC in Qianhai, and believed that MCC would be capable for successfully completing the current project on time. Zhang expected that, basing upon the current cooperative projects, both parties could intensify efforts on communication and view-exchanges, and make joint endeavors to promote the mutual collaboration between enterprise and government onto a new height.
After the meeting, both parties conducted an inspection to the jobsite of the 1st Bidding Section of Shenzhen Qianhai Municipal Project and the Qianhai Youth Dream Works for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which are contracted by Shanghai Baoye Construction Group (SBC-MCC Group). Afterwards they visited the Qianhai Development Planning in Qianhai Exhibition Hall.
The relevant heads and staff were present at the meeting and accompanied the leaders during the inspection.
