On October 9th, MCC organized its staff to visit the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution to see 'Heroic Epic, Immortal Monument - Themed Exhibition Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Long March'. Nearly 30 people from the Headquarters institutions attended the visit.
An important event to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Long March, this exhibition is jointly held by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CCCPC) Organization Department, CCCPC Publicity Department, CCCPC Party Literature Research Office, Central Military Commission Political Department, CCCPC Party History Research Center and Beijing Municipal Party Committee. The exhibition is divided into 6 sections: 'Embarking on the Journey of the Strategic Transfer', 'Walking Forward Forever Through Bloody Battles', 'Determining the Course by a Great Turn', 'The Revolutionary Ideal is Superior to Everything', 'Successfully Joining Forces Opens a New Situation', and 'Keeping the Initial Intentions in Mind to Finish the New Long March Road'. Its panoramas reveal the arduous and glorious history and heroic undertaking of the Red Army's Long March under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and demonstrates the great significance and precious experience of the victory of the Red Army's Long March and the important status of the Long March in the history of the Chinese Revolution and the People's Army. By earnestly visiting the exhibition and listening to the vivid explanations of the commentator, the people at the site gained a deeper knowledge of the winding course of the Long March from setback to victory, and understood the important roles of ideals and faith for overcoming difficulties and emerging victorious. They all gained a clearer insight into the great significance of the victory of the Long March on the overall victory of the Chinese Revolution victory and felt the numerous connotations and inspirational power of the spirit of the Long March.
During the visit, the people at the site voluntarily shared their feelings and experience. They unanimously agreed that this visit not only constituted profound education in the revolutionary tradition and patriotism, but also served as a vivid and moving Party lecture. They expressed in succession that they will keep the initial intentions in mind, continue moving forward, give full play to the great Long March spirit, finish the new Long March road, spare no efforts to advance the stable implementation of the Group's new strategic positioning of being the 'national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of infrastructure and the pacesetter of emerging industries', and work hard to make contributions towards building a 'Beautiful MCC'.
