In the morning of September 22nd, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council Deputy Director Huang Danhua visited MCC's W Hotels Project in Kuala Lumpur City, Malaysia, to conduct an investigation and survey, and hear a report made by MCC General Manager and President Zhang Zhaoxiang on such situations as the global steel market development and Malaysian project layout.
At the construction site of W Hotels Project, Huang Danhua learned in detail about the safety, quality and civilized construction situation, fully affirmed the present progress and civilized construction, and appreciated MCC's impressive accomplishments in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. She stressed that MCC should give full play to its complementary advantages and synergy following the deep recombination with China Minmetals, proceed from the whole situation, finish every project with a 'high level, quality and standard', and cast a gold-lettered signboard of 'MCC' in countries along the 'One Belt, One Road' route.
The above activities were attended by SASAC of the State Council Office Party Committee Standing Deputy Secretary Jia Chunqu, Design Development Bureau Deputy Director General Jia Like, Foreign Affairs Deputy Director General Xu Aibo, MCC3 General Manager Zhang Xingwu, MCC Overseas General Manager Wu Qingyu, MCC Overseas Engineering Management Department Minister Xu Yongjie, MCC Overseas Deputy General Manager and Malaysia Company General Manager Yang Ruobing and others.
The W Hotels Project is generally contracted by MCC Overseas' Malaysia Company and assumed by MCC3. As a landmark building in the downtown area of Kuala Lumpur and the highest building yet undertaken by MCC overseas, it is a 55-storey finely-decorated hotel and service-type apartment building with a height of 230m.
