On April 19th, MCC CERI signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Wuyi County Government and Hengshui Yitong Pipe Industry Company for the Fabricated Steel Integrated Pipeline Corridor Project. MCC Group General Manager and MCC President Zhang Zhaoxiang, Mayor of Hengshui City Yang Hui and others attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the signing of the agreement.
Prior to signing the agreement, Zhang Zhaoxiang and Yang Hui had a deep discussion. Zhang Zhaoxiang pointed out that MCC CERI is the main-force institute of the MCC Pipeline Technology Academy, which fully indicates its abundant strength and leading position in the pipeline business. During its development over the last 5 years, MCC CERI has achieved excellent performance in the pipeline business in major cities like Shijiazhuang and Nanjing. It also played a role in the formulation of several national level codes and specifications, provincial standards and technical guides concerning pipelines, and took part in several pipeline research projects and technical services for the State Department of Housing Construction. It has gained a high level of influence and popularity in this industry.
When discussing the future of fabricated steel integrated pipeline products, Zhang Zhaoxiang pointed out that, after sufficient research judgment and accurate promotion, the MCC Pipeline Technology Academy became the first in China to take fabricated steel integrated pipelines as its key products for R&D. These products can effectively reduce overcapacity for iron and steel enterprises. Their strength symbolizes the development direction of high-end products in the industry. With the great support of the Hengshui City Government and Wuyi County Government, MCC CERI and Hengshui Yitong Pipe Industry Company will form a strong combination and complement each other's advantages in accelerating the R&D and manufacturing of first-generation fabricated steel integrated pipeline products, thereby laying a firm foundation for the comprehensive promotion of fabricated steel integrated pipelines in Wuyi County.
On behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and Government of Hengshui City, and County Party Committee and Government of Wuyi County, Yang Hui warmly welcomed Zhang Zhaoxiang and his delegation. The signing of this agreement is another key step for MCC following the signing of the previous strategic cooperation agreement with the Hengshui City Government. The strength of both parties is remarkable; with 60 years of rich experience, MCC CERI is the pacesetter enterprise of metallurgical industry design and a trailblazer of MCC’s pipeline business, and the Hengshui Yitong Pipe Industry Company is also a leader among the more than 40 domestic steel corrugated tube manufacturing enterprises, whose products are widely used in such municipal works as culverts, bridges, tunnels and so on. Its comprehensive strength is ranked among the highest in the industry. With the strong combination of both parties in jointly building high-end municipal integrated pipeline products, this operation will be a success in Wuyi County and enjoy further promotion. She hopes that MCC CERI will take the signing of this agreement as an opportunity to actively take part in the urban construction of Wuyi County and the whole of Hengshui City, thereby achieving win-win development.
